He describes the article of clothing as a “skilt” because it is not a kilt, that’s too Scottish. At the same time, it’s not just a skirt, since that implies something too feminine. Thus, the “skilt” was born. When the design directors are able to take such impressive personal style risks and have them pay off beautifully, we can all expect great things to continue to come in regards to the timepieces produced by this company.
