A Lange & Sohne Question&Answer:
There can be no better measure of our governance than the way we treat our children, and no greater failing on our part than to allow them to be subject to violence, abuse, or exploitation – Jessica Lange.
Take from it what you will.
I defy anyone not to have a heavy heart for any child in any circumstance that is not safe and happy.

1) We had waited so long for dinner that anything would have tasted wonderful.
2) I am hapy that you won the chess match.
3) My father thinks you should become a lawyer.
4) For a moment, Dr. Lange thought the plant’s rings appeared smaller.
*Who ever can get the most problems gets the 10 points!*
Answer by Mickey D
1. anything and wonderful are linked by tasted
2. I and happy are linked by am
3. You and lawyer are linked by become
4. Rings and smaller are linked by appeared.
Be careful about what a linking verb is. They are non action verbs. There is only ONE linking verb in each of the above sentences. Won, for instance is NOT a linking verb. It is an action verb. Waited, also, is an action verb. It links nothing. It is what the subject does. A linking verb is one that is doing nothing. It only links the subject and the predicate. Similarly, thinks is an action verb. It is something done by the subject. And, finally, when Dr. Lange thinks, he is doing something. The rings, on the other hand, simply appear. They do nothing. The look a certain way. Those are linking, non-action, verbs.

Question by Erica H: Why is the bell-shaped curve referred to as a normal distribution in your own words?
Why is the bell-shaped curve referred to as a normal distribution in your own words?
Best answer:
Answer by Dustin
Because the majority of answers will be within a certain percentage of each other, called the deviation. There will always be a few that excel (at the high end of the curve) and a few that don’t (the low end of the curve) but most answers (95%) will be within 2 deviations of the average score.
