What's a brand that's not as expensive as Rolex but is still pretty expensive?

I think that Movado is pretty expensive [not as much as Rolex though].

My mom got herself a Movado watch and it cost about $900. Others that she liked were $800-$1400. So I would definitley suggest that brand! No one is going to think your cheap or don't have enough money, I can guarentee you that.

Movado is a pretty good watch brand and aren't that cheap.I don't know if Gucci is less,more or the same as a Rolex.My mom owns like 10 of those.

Swatch is a good brand.

Movado is more on the expensive side. I recommend it, though. =]

no i don't think so but i personally prefer Movado's simple design to Rolex…

pfft uhh yeah movado is pretty damn expensive. they are in the thousands… there are a few that are like 400 but they arnt as nice…

Hell no! i mean they may not be as expensive as a armani but my mom has one and she's had it for many years now and it works like brand new. Its a cheap watch like the ones you buy at Target or Wal-Mart. There's a Movado store at the Woodfield mall in Shumburg, IL

If the second hand is not constantly moving it's a fake.

If it has no code number asigned, if the rolex word is not will aligned, if the materials are not quite good then it is fake.

If it sells for less than a US$ 1,000, and wasn't from a reputable shop I'd be concerned.

If you buy it from a guy with a trenchcoat full of watches.

May I know which series is the latest/better design etc.

They usually update the same model from year to year.Always check the ROLEX online site for changes and new models.They have some with gold,diamonds etc.It is hard to know which one you are talking about,due to the vast variety that they offer.Most come with the 40mm case.As far as the series goes that would have to think it would go by year.A dealer would be able to tell you.Business week lists ROLEX #71 on its annual 100 most valuable global brands,top among watch makers.They have been around since 1905 ,younger than some other brands.The newest GMT2 would be the best way to go,as the older models are harder to find and held by collectors.Good Luck
