Question by
Ever since I saw the movie I got obsessed with the watch. Here’s what I found so far; http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/style/articles/2011-09/16/gq-watches-ryan-gosling-watch-from-drive-film-movie. Apperentely they only made this watch for the movie so maybe someone knows a brand which sells similar watches?
Many thanks

New Watch Alert: Hublot….and by Hublot, we mean Richard Mille.
Despite the fact that Jay-Z has been rapping about Hublot a lot as of late, it appears he’s something of a Richard Mille fan. In fact, Jay was seen wearing one of 50 production RM027 Rafa Nadal tourbillons last week while watching another Mille wearer play in the championship against Novak Djokovic. Not a bad choice, Jigga man.

Mike Horn. You might not know his name, but you’ve probably heard of him before. He’s the real life version of Dos Equis’ “The Most Interesting Man In The World” character. Blasphemy you say? Well how about this for example: in 1999 he circumnavigated the Earth along the equator, using only his feet, bicycles and small non-motorized boats.
Still not impressed? In 2006 he and his partner were the first to travel to and reach the North Pole on foot…in total darkness. So it comes as no surprise that he has a watch branded with his name: the Panerai PAM 307.

Well, therw was no way to see this one coming. Chad Ochocino, the man who felt the surname “Johnson” was just a little to plain jain for an athlete of his talents has gone ahead and purchased an Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project. For those who don’t remember, the Alaska Project Speedmaster was a concept watch that Omega hoped NASA would choose to replace the standard Speedmaster Professional on space-bound missions. The dial was white so it wouldn’t absorb heat, and the red anodized aluminum case protects the watch in a temperature range from -148F to +260F. NASA never purchased these watches and the project was called to a stop.
Omega released a tribute to the Alaska Project a few years back and that is exactly what you’ll see on Monsieur Ochocinco’s wrist these days. This watch is actually one of the cooler limited editions from Omega in the past few years, and yes you can remove that red aluminum shell.
(via Ochocinco on Twitter)
Related Posts: See our exclusive interview with Pierre Chopard, the man who led the Alaska Project here. BTW, yes, Chopard wears the same watch as Ochocinco.

Sometimes you just have to ask the question that’s on absolutely nobody’s mind – the question that doesn’t really make any sense at all. We’ve pitted two of our favorite guys against each other for no real purpose other than the fact that they both happen to wear the same wrist watch, the Royal Oak chrono ref: 26300ST. So you tell us – does newly crowned US Open champ Rory McIlroy represent this watch, or is it Fratello-maestro Robert-Jan who does it best?
(PS – RJ, You’re Welcome)

rolex watches Question&Answer:
Question by John
How did that happen? I mean Rolex is better than Omega, so why the producers set him with a lesser brand of watch?
Omega gave them money? Of course, I dont think is for free. But Seiko could have done the same. There is something about deeper about this. I think it has something to do with the personality of James Bond before he became James Bond.

Question by flowlikedat: ladies..if he wears a rolex…are you going to try to get to know him?
come on..be honest now!
Best answer:
Answer by Tomorrow’s Another Day
No, not really. I seriously don’t care about money. I like an older man who isn’t rich, and I liked a younger guy who doesn’t have his own place yet. Anyway Rolexes are tacky.
