Rolex has five peices of chain, each containing 4 links. he want to join the peices to form a circle. if it costs 10 cents to open a link and 10 cents to close a link, find a way he can do it for only 80 cents.

8. Leather shoes are woren in bowling. rubber soled sneakers are woren in tennis. in what sport are all metal shoes woren in?
Answer
Ok, I'll try to communicate my thoughts, but I don't think in words much so this will have to do:
1.
#Omarbles=same in each bag
2xbags then marbles per bag
32 marbles
let b be #Obags
let m be #OmarblesPerBab
* is a multiplying symbol in coding, so I'll use it…
First eqn:
32=b*m
Useless, moving on:
b=2m
Subbing into first eqn:
32=2m*m
m is squared?
32=2m^2
Divide by 2:
16=m^2
Squareroot, now that the square has been isolated on one side:
(+/-)4=m
This is the real world…
m=4
He has 4 marbles per bag.
4. Useless question but:
WRONG+WRONG = 2WRONG
so we start:
2WRONG=RIGHT
since O has to be 0 (zero), 2WRONG=0; so at least 1 variable (ie: R, I, G…) in RIGHT must=0…
So just sub in values, and like the question says O=0, and then to make it work make a letter in RIGHT equal zero.
5. This doesn't make sense, but if it grapically forms a parabola it might will make sense…
let b be brothers
let s be sisters
1 more brother than he has sisters. So that mean that there are two more brothers: The statement doesn't include mathew.
s+2=b
Now we need to find an equation we can sub in…
No information…lol I must be missing something.
Rolex's chains.
So-4 changes available. Mid-state is 0.10$…
Remember you can break the middle of the chains too…
7. I'm tired and I don't like poker questions…
8. None. It's a trick question.
Goodnight, I'm going to bed. I hope the incomplete stuff gets u started…
