Question by raincheck22
I am in a PPR league. I have Zach Miller as my starting tight end but he is hurt and I need a backup just in case he doesn’t start. Greg Olsen plays Buffalo and Tamme plays Philly. I know Olsen’s match up looks better on paper, but the bears aren’t the best of teams this year. The Colts are a much better team and Manning seems to make players good, but it was one game.
Answer by Matt
I dumped Olsen from my team, he hasn’t done anything this year.

Question by bennieben12
Chris Ivory vs. Pittsburgh Def. Or Tamme who has never started as a TE?
Answer by Phillip
Chris Ivory easy. Tamme wont see much action with anthony gonzalez coming back, at best he’ll be 4th on targets. Also Pierre thomas and Bush have been ruled out for this week.

Question by Reece
Tamme is a stud but I’d like to see him prove himself before i start him confidently, however when I did take a chance on him last week he rewarded me handsomely. Mercedes has been great for me all year, but I think Tamme might explode again. Who should I start and why?
Answer by John
Go with Lewis…..he will have a career day!
Don’t get me wrong, Tamme is a great TE, but Lewis is getting the key looks lately…and this week he has the lowely Houston secondary……Start Lewis and reap the benefits!!

Question by J-Swine
Playoffs 10
Answer by redskinfan3000
Olsen isn’t looking like a TE1 against Minnesota. In standard leagues he’s combined for 1.1 points over his last two games!!!! The Vikings also only allow an average of 6.5 fantasy points to TEs (which is kinda low so don’t expect a TD for Olsen) and since Mike Martz’s offense doesn’t even utilize the TE much then Olsen is not worth starting this week unless your desperate.
Tamme hasn’t been an excellent TE option recently, but I think he will go back to reclaim his elite fantasy-TE status this week against the Jags who allow an average of 8.8 fantasy points to TEs. Tamme questionable status is due to an illness he has, but he practiced and practiced well all week so he’s good to go for this week.
Start Tamme with confidence!

Jacob & Co Question&Answer:
Question by Jesse B
Gonzalez is having a not-so-good fantasy season this year, and he’s only went over 50 yards once. My current tight ends are Tony Gonzalez and Zach Miller, but I’m very tempted to add Jacob Tamme.
The only reason I haven’t added Tamme yet is because Gonzalez is playing against Tampa Bay’s secondary this week. Should I drop Gonzalez and pick up Tamme?
Answer by Nick
No drop Zach Miller instead
