Question by Big Will
Need to know how to make these. Do you cook the chicken before you put it in the bell pepper? or do you put the bell pepper in the oven with uncooked chicken?
Answer by libbyami
Naw, gotta cook it first
4 green, red or orange bell peppers with flat bottoms
2 tablespoons CRISCO Oil
1 medium onion, peeled and diced
2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic (or 1 large garlic clove, peeled and minced)
1 -1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
2/3 cup spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Cut tops off peppers, trim and reserve. Remove and discard seeds and ribs. Place peppers in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Heat Crisco Oil in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Sauté 3 minutes, or until onions are translucent. Scrape mixture into medium mixing bowl.
Combine onion mixture with chicken, spaghetti sauce, cheese, salt and pepper.
Divide mixture into hollowed out peppers. Replace pepper tops.
Bake peppers at 375ºF for 40 to 50 minutes, or until peppers are tender when pierced with tip of paring knife.
Serve immediately.
Note: The peppers can be prepared for baking up to 2 days in advance and refrigerated, tightly covered with plastic wrap. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour before baking.

Question by Brent212
It’s pretty quiet, but I recognize it and want to know what it is. It’s sort of like a disco song but could be more modern. It’s hard to tell since I can’t hear it very well.
Pretty sure it’s not any version of the Macarena. Maybe that’s in a different commercial.
Answer by ladydeeluk
It’s a re-mix salsa ( salsa as in music ) version of “Hey Macaraina”
Not sure on the spelling but the taco bell music is a re-mix disco / contemporary

Question by tay
They’re homemade and the bits of meat aren’t that large at all. Mainly what’s in it is rice and tomato. Just was curious on how many calories are in it overall.
Answer by beta1n
It depends on the quality of the meat.
One cup of uncooked rice has 650 calories.
Vegetables have little to no calories.
I’m going to say between 300-400 unless it’s huge.

I don’t know what to fix with them. The ones I’m making have a sweet & sour tomato sauce on top. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
sorry guys…I should have said they will be stuffed with ground beef & rice seasoned mixture and topped with the tomato sweet/sour sauce. So, they really are the main dish; I just felt like I needed something else to go with them. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Should I cook what I want to put inside first? I’m putting rice, tomatoes, onions, and zuccini. Any other suggestions?
Answer by Red
Cook the rice first def.
If you want the center crispier then only pan fry them for a few mins beofre cookin in Bell.
Or You can cook the a little longer, still panfrying, and stuff then cook.

I just use ground beef and /or ground turkey and rice. Mix then add to the peppers. I use tomato soup on top of mine. What about beef broth?
