We love watches with specialty branding or seals, whether a Vulcain Cricket with a Presidential Seal, Rolex with the Venezuelan retailer Serpico y Laino or Rolex Explorer II with the national emblem of the Sultanate of Oman. Pictured is a 14k Hamilton with the American Bowling Congress (ABC) 300 Award, likely available for purchase from ABC for those certified to have a 300. Our friends at Honolulu Time Company are selling this watch here.

Question by 2006queen
and how he had to do with the harlem renaissance.
Answer by Lucid One
Jacob Lawrence (September 7, 1917–June 9, 2000) was an African American painter; he was married to fellow artist Gwendolyn Knight.
Lawrence is probably among the most well known twentieth century African American painters, a distinction also shared by Romare Bearden. Lawrence’s Migration Series made him nationally famous when it was featured in a 1941 issue of Fortune Magazine. The series depicts the great move north of blacks in the Depression years.
Lawrence was born on September 7, 1917 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He had a sister named Geraldine and a brother named William. They moved many times over the course of his life but he first made his name in Harlem in 1930, where he went to school at Utopia Children’s House. He finally settled in Seattle, Washington where he married Gwendolyn Knight in 1970 and became an art professor at the University of Washington, where some of his works are now displayed as part of the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering. In 1998 he received Washington State’s highest honor, The Washington Medal of Merit.
Lawrence’s work often portrayed important periods in African-American history. Among his works are a series of pieces about the abolitionist John Brown and another about Haitian revolutionary Toussaint l’Ouverture, as well as numerous depictions of Harriet Tubman. He was awarded the US National Medal of the Arts in 1990.

Question by The Clown Prince of Crime
Don’t give me Batista at Wrestlemania 23. Batista was never as bad as IWC made him out to be. If his matches with Kane, Triple H, Big Show, Booker T, John Cena, and JBL were entertaining of course his match with Undertaker would be entertaining. Undertaker is better than all his opponents I mentioned, anyway.
And I ask this solely cause the fear of seeing Undertaker vs Sheamus at Wrestlemania 27. The Undertaker’s knee are too banged up to carry someone completely talentless to a half-decent match. Even when his knees were still good, he still failed to do the deed. Not his fault of course, but you can always ask King Kong Bundy, A-Train, and Mark Henry since Giant Gonzales and Big Boss Man are six feet under at the moment.

Question by cath
neighbor’s door bell?He lives across the street from us. We have noticed that when someone rings his bell, it rings here also, everytime. We have a wireless dorrbell and have it programmed to a certain ring, (Star bangled Banner) but when my neighbor’s door bell is rung, it rings at our house but with a different ring. (Westminster chimes).
Answer by Bizor
He may also have a wireless door bell set on the same frequency as yours, and the range is enough to activate your bell.
You should probably change the frequency or buy a new bell.

Question by Quietmike89
I been watching wwf/wwe for over a decade now and up until about a few years ago I started watching occasionally to not at all. I began watching Raw weekly again around February of this year.
And from there I’ve been visiting the wrestling websites and a majority of the IWC are all for Zack Ryder. I’ve only seen two of his matches. One from about 2 years ago when he was wearing the half tights/pants attire ( a match that he lost) and the match he had against Michael Cole.
I just don’t get his appeal!! Someone please explain it to me. Thanks
I admire the fact that he is promoting himself since WWE aren’t giving him time.
Answer by mark
He has a show on youtube ” Z! a true long island story” its pretty funny, you should check it out.

Question by Souka
if someone made a book about rensemee and jacob and how their relationship is really complicated and bella and edward ain’t so happy about jacob and rensemee together yet, and then when things couldn’t get any worse a new wolf comes into town and falls hard for rensemee and jacob isn’t too happy about it and then something so powerful that not even the valtori could handle wants to end jacob and rensemee for good…
Answer by Kitty
I’m guessing you’re wanting to write fan fiction for twilight? Anyway I think the relationship between those two is sick. I don’t care what you call it jacob should be arrested. He is 18 years older than her and she is a child. It is gross.

Jacob & Co Question&Answer:
Question by Jewel5
ive seen things about it all over and I’ve read the books but i still don’t get it. Is it just about who you think should get Bella? Or is it something i missed in the book?
Answer by Harriet
The teams are made up ways of people to say who they prefer bella to be with
team jacob: you think bella and jacob are meant to be (the team i am on)
team edward: you agree with bella, stephanie meyer, and the majority of twilight readers and have fallen in love with edward and bella
team switzerland: you’re neutral (like switzerland) and like (or i guess it could be hate as well) both

Bell & Ross Question&Answer:
Question by Chrissy
my chemistry teacher is grading by the bell curve, for my first test i did horrible i got a 58 and my second test i got a 67, he said he will drop the lowest grade, majority of the class had 80′s and 60′s. he said he grades like this, 100-90 A. 80-89 B. 70-69 C.. etc. how does the bell curve work, what will my average be, if i get like 4 80′s and one 67?
Answer by Ray
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking, because if I recall that for it to be a bell curve grading system he can’t make a prior cutoff to grades. i.e. the cutoff from an “A” to “B” won’t be decided until he receives the grades for the test.
From my understanding of a Bell curve grading system the majority of people will be getting C’s which causes the “hump” of the bell and then it tapers from the edges to the people who get “F’s” and “A’s”
This is what causes it to get the bell shape. So as long as you’re doing better than most of your classmates you should be ok.
