I’ve just written a letter. There’s a lot of mistakes, please help me check it out and make it better as you like:

Danke für deine Einladung zur Hochzeit. Ich freue mich sehr darüber deine Einladung anzunehmen und habe schon lange darauf gewartet. Am Montag werde ich mich auf den Weg zu dir machen. Da ich ein Zimmer zum Übernachten brauche, wäre es sehr nett, wenn du mir eines für drei Nächte buchen (=to book; bestellen means to order, you can’t use that one) könntest. Ich habe vor am 17. Mai den Zug um 13:26 Uhr zu nehmen, damit ich zwei Stunden später bei dir zuhause bin.

I changed the time you used, because Ankunft means arrival, and if you arrive at 15:30 Uhr and the train takes two hours you have to leave at 13:30.

Yeah, a year abroad is a really long time. I am now here a week, but I already miss all my people. It really sucks. But well, we will (definitely) see each other again!

Question by Marvin Moss: In “NCIS: Los Angeles” don’t you think that Hetty Lange is too short and light to be in the Navy?
Last time I checked you needed to match some physical requirements to be accepted in the Navy. I don’t mean to put down Linda Hunt, she’s a terrific actress but i just can’t imagine her in that kind of job.

She wasn’t in the Navy. NCIS agents do not have to have been in the Armed Forces. DiNozzo and McGee were never in any of the Armed Forces either.

Question by Jack Walsh: I remember reading a short story written according to the James-Lange trheory. Anybody know what it was?
This was 40 years or so ago, so I’m asking a lot. But it was vary jarring, and very delightful, to see emotions described as resulting from bodily states rather than the opposite. May have been a paragraph. Someone told me James wrote a longer work of fiction but I have never seen it.

i believe the only book William james wrote was the massive Principles of Psychology which took him about 12 years to write (there were shorter versions of this book printed)
