To get into Jacobs, you have to be a VERY good musician. You will have to audition. It will help if you have won awards at the state level, been in honor bands or orchestras, etc.
Other schools in southern Indiana that have music programs include U. Evansville and Hanover as does ISU-Terre Haute.
Butler, in Indianapolis, also has a good music program. U. Cincinnati is very close to SE Indiana and has an excellent music program (may be tough to get into, though, like Jacobs).

New Haven native Sir Curtis Miranda Lampson (1806-1885), became wealthy in the fur trade with John Jacob Astor and was knighted by Queen Victoria for financial support of the first trans-Atlantic cable. He donated ,000 to construct the Lampson Institute.
The school has been on the National Register of Historic Places (#01001363), since 2001.

I was in my last class of the day and the bell rang to go home, when the class tries to leave the teacher makes us wait, can a teacher hold students in the class passed the bell without written or verbal consent if the student(s) aren’t in any trouble?

Hallo, ich heisse James und ich bin funfzehn jahre alt. Ich bin ganz sportlich aber haufig faul. Ich habe ein pfiffiger kurz haare schnittt, Ich bin ziemlich gross und sehr muskulös. Am abend gehe ich an den computer, ich surfe am internet und hore oft Musik. Ich hore gern Rock musik weil es mir gute laune macht. Medien ist wichtiger fur mich, weil ich glaube medien zunkuft ist. Ich mache oft spasse und ich bin immer lebendig. Ich interessiere mich fur tennis, obwohl fussball mein lieblingsport ist.
2.Ich wohne mit meine familien. Meine mutter heisst Rosa, ich habe ein varter, der david heisst. Ich wohne auch mit meiner jungeren schwester zusammen, sie Emily heisst. Meine eltern hat immer zeit fur dich, mein varter spielt immer fussball mit mir und meine mutter kocht fur meine familien. Mein varter ist vierzig jahre alt aber er ist nicht altmodisch. Er habt lange schwarz haare und ein Schnurrbart. Shirley habt lange gelb haare und ist mittel gross, vielleicht ein hundtert und funfzig centimetre lange.
3.Meiner meinungnach ich verstehe mich gut mit meinen eltern weil sie sportlich und lustig sind. Sie helfen mir, wenn ich in der schule Probleme habe. Emilly, meine schwester, ist manchmal wirklich klasse, nett und freundlich. Aber im moment ist sie unhorflich und selbstbewusst. Ich finde mein mutter ist geduldig und total grossartig, sie ist meistens gut gelaunt und humourvoll. Mein varter, ist ganz locker und er ist bestimmt hilfsbereit. Mit meine schwester komme ich haufig gut aus aber sie manchmal schlechte laune haben.
4.Letztes wochenende habe ich Fussball gespielt und wir haben zwei zu null gewonnen. Dannach meine freundin zumir gekommen. Wir haben zusammen mit meine eltern gegessen, habe ich pizza und pommes gegessen, es war ziemlich lecker. Dann in morgen wir bin nach kirch gegangen, weil meine mutter sehr religious ist aber ich glaube kirch ist so langweilig. Dannach mein varter und mich haben eine radtour gemacht, es war funfzig kilometer lange, aber es war sehr anstrengend.

One of my teachers says if we keep talking and shes not done with what she has to say then shell keep us as long as she needs even if the end of school bell rings? Can she keep us after the end of school bell rings? Im in 10th grade.

no shes just scaring you. teachers do it all the time and it used to piss me off so much cause they have no right to keep us over. but im in college now if they piss you off just walk out lol
I have no idea why people would say yes… she cant you need to get on the bus on time. if you miss it your parents can come in and tell on the teacher. people have lives. in most cases its not the whole classes fault. even if they were making you stay for a detention or anything else they have to give you a day ahead of notice before you stay after for it.
