Rolex has five pieces of chain each containing four links He wants to join the pieces to form a circle If it costs 10 cents to open a link and 10 cents to close a link find a way he can do this for 80 cents?
0000 => piece a
0000 => piece b
0000 => piece c
0000 => piece d
0000 => piece e
Open the last link of piece a and close it with first link of piece b
=> 0.10 x 2 = 0.20
Open last link of piece b and close it with first link of piece c
=> 0.10 x 2 = 0.20
Open last link of piece c and close it with first link of piece d
=> 0.10 x 2 = 0.20
Open last link of piece d and close it with first link of piece e
=> 0.10 x 2 = 0.20
So, 20 cents x 4 = 80 cents
After that just weldding together first link of piece a with last link piece of link e
I'd call this more of a puzzle than a math problem.
Open each of the four links in one section of chain. Use each of those links to join the remaining four pieces of chain. Four opens, four closes = 80 cents.
Open all 4 links of one piece of chain (that's 40 cents) then use them all to link up the other pieces to make a whole link before closing those 4 back again (40 cents again) for a total of 80 cents.

It has a hacking movement, and is a cheaper version, may Jap internals. I wound it well and it stops when laid flat on a table or on my wrist. On it's edge with the winding crown facing down it works all day and all night. Can I open the back to make an adjustment? Thanks!!!
Do you mean it has an ETA or a Japanese movement? ETA calibres are used in most Swiss and German brands, including Rolex's cheap line, Tudor. Rolex now makes all of its own movements, but it did use a Zenith chronograph movement until a few years ago. It is best to leave adjustments and repairs to pros. You will surely ruin the watch if you try to do anything to the movement. Ask one how much he charges for such chores. The watch may not be worth it. Buy another one, if adjustment costs too much.
IM SURE YOU CAN TRY IT
