How can u tell if a rolex is fake
Except for the sport model, a Rolex's second hand sweeps instead of ticks. If it's ticking it's probably not a Rolex.

1. A rolex has a sweep second hand, other watches tick off the seconds 1 by 1.
2. Weight – Rolexes are generally much heavier
3. On a Rolex the rewind mechanism can not be heard when you shake the watch.
4. Each Rolex watch has an ID stamped on the case, fakes use an adheisive sticker

I just would like for someone to email me and tell me what is so great about having a Rolex watch. I have seen people on here says it is heavier, the second hand does not tick…uh.it is probably very expensive, so why would someone buy that instead of a nice looking cheaper watch or an assortment of different nice looking watches and that way they would not have to worry about all that stuff…. Anyone?

if you bought it from a street vendor for under a hundred dollars than you can almost gaurentee it is fake however you can also tell if it has made in china on the back

If you pay $50 from a guy with a raincoat full of watches.
Or, you can verify the serial numbers with Rolex.
