How can people make the argument that pro-wrestling is fake when it's openly a work?
A fake rolex watch can only be fake if it was sold to a customer as the real thing. Wrestling isn't being sold as the real thing so how can it be fake?

Since 1988, WWF/E has openly stated that it isn't a competitive sport, it was athletic theatrics. This was reviled by Linda McMahon when they told the New Jersey State board of athletics they didn't need to be regulated and taxed like competitive sports.

People aren't running around calling magic shows fake. Because magic isn't fake. And all of the audience at a Las Vegas magic show knows it. They pay to watch skilled artists preform a craft. It's openly entertainment in the same way wrestling is.

Or am I going wrong somewhere?

I saw this watch on a mans arm while playing blackjack at a the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. It was a super elegant classy watch. My wife checked on one at the Rolex Jewelry store in the next city, Our city is too small to have one but the price was out of sight. Anyone know where I can really get a good deal on any?

The battery is dead it doesn't run, so that option is out.

Rolexes generally don't take batteries (it's been a few years since I've sold them, so I'm drawing a blank as to whether ANY of them do…but I don't remember any of them taking batteries), so that's a red flag right there. Wear it on you wrist for a while (to move it around) and see if it "wakes up"…they generally run off of kinetic energy, and will stop if they are still for too long.

To be absolutely certain, take it to a jeweler or watchmaker that sells Rolexes…they will be able to tell you for sure, and shouldn't charge you to do so. (You have to pay for an appraisal, but not if they're just telling you whether or not it's real). A knowledgeable salesperson or watchmaker will be able to tell very quickly if it's real or fake.

take it to a pawn shop or a jewelry shop and ask them to look at it…

Take it to a professional, ask him not to take it apart,
An honest jeweler with some backround knowledge of watches should help
It shouldn't take more than an hour and he should be able to do it right in front of you. He shouldn't charge anything more than a small fee for his expertiece

Take it to a respectable jeweler…
