i bought a "Rolex" from a thrift store that accepts donations. They said it might be fake and were only asking $100 for it. I bought it and found that it truely is fake. But a good fake.

i didn't really mind the purchase but just don't think they should sell something that is illegal to sell.

Technically, yes, it is illegal to sell counterfeit merchandise. And it doesn't matter whether the individual selling the merchandise knew it was or not. If it says 'rolex' on it its not a replica its a counterfeit good. But who exactly is going to prosecute them for the one illegal item they sell out of hundred and hundreds of items they receive. ( it would be like sending a person to jail for having a trace amount of marijuana on them)

No, they shouldn't. Its a shame but who exactly is going to go through all of the stuff and decide whether its authentic or not. I've seen fake Louis Vuitton bags at thrift stores, too. But people should know if the price is too good to be true, it probably is.

It may not be illegal to sell replicas in your state if they're labeled as replicas.

I would never choose a guy based on the watch he was wearing! In fact, any guy that buys watches for the sole purpose of getting girls is probably trying to compensate for an overly small penis. Thanks for asking!

Only a fool would want to be chosen based on the watch they wear. They are both fine time pieces, the Rolex slightly more popular. Its a matter of your personal preference. Its not a means for getting 'picked'.

Omega is obviously luxurious as well, but even the word 'Rolex' is just so symbolic.
