I am on a quest to purchase a gold watch for my father. Does anyone know where I can find a 18k gold watch from a brand name like tag heuer , movado , Cartier, breitling or omega? Maybe even Rolex.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. I dont want to pay too much and I know if I go to the manufactuer and they send to to authorized watch dealer ill be paying full price.

The first thing I would do is decide on a price. How much do you want to spend on a gold watch. They go from 500-500000 dollars. Once you decide how much you want to spend on a gold watch you should decide what type of features you want on the watch. Also do you want a dress watch or a sporty watch?

Once you decide on a few models do some searches on google.com ebay.com and see who has the best prices. If you are spending alot of money call the place and ask for a recommendation.

I have a couple thousand saved up should i go all out with a new wardrobe or go with a rolex and look like a bum but with a rolex

taking my advice are we? def.. wardrobe. Although a Rolex would show a sign of wealth, you won't be noticed if you look like the creepy guy on the corner talking to himself. Being that you are a radiologist, you probably aren't the brawny handsome type. So, you might need some help not only with the wardrobe, but also with hair and all that good stuff.

Well you can look at it two ways. You can get a lot of really great clothes for the price of a Rolex, but chances ate in a few years you will either be sick of them or they will start looking a little ragged. If you buy the Rolex, in a classic style, not one of the trendy ones, you will have it for the rest of your life and if things ever get tough, you can sell it an probably get the same amount you paid for it years down the road.

Get a new wardrobe. A rolex is just one thing. And its only a brand name you'll be investing in. Why buy a precious little toy when you can get a stylish new collection of clothes and accessories?

Go with the clothes, because if you get robbed for your Rolex- you'll just be a broke bum.

Duh—new wardrobe!!! Then you'd have something new and different to wear every day, instead of your same old, same old, (but with a new watch)—and who even notices people's watches, anyways??? Besides, if I saw someone that looked like a bum with a rolex, I wouldn't think that he had bought it………

What is the value of a top five race team in the Grand-Am, Rolex Series? For example, #01 Telmex?

Ive been checking, and I can pick one up for a couple hundred thousand.$$$

There are no franchises in that series, so any team is simply worth the some of it's parts, plus (or minus) any contracts of value with personnel, or equipment suppliers…

Will these watches be authenticated by Rolex?

Any jeweler will authenticate a rolex watch (for a fee)

Each seller is different.

eBay does it's best to pull item listings that are known to be fakes, but they don't catch them all. Look for a reputable seller with lots of good FB on their Rolex items. You can utilize http://toolhaus.org/ to sort through and check their past negatives.

Like an above responder stated, any jeweler will be able to authenticate your purchase. If you use Paypal and you have PROOF that your item is a fake, there are claims you can file that will open up an investigation of the item in question.

Any brand name which carries a large price tag is cause for suspicion on eBay. You simply need to use common sense and check out the FB of the seller. Ask questions. Check out completed listings. If you see a "brand new" Rolex for sale with a price of $59.95, well, what do you think? Of course it's fake! Good Luck!
