I posted about BreitlingSource’s Partnership with Govberg Watch Repair several months back, and decided it was time to follow-up to let you guys know that we’ve done lots of servicing for the Breitling community and have had fantastic results. Several members have told me they’ve had a great experience with Govberg’s, being both an Authorized Breitling dealer as well as a Service Center that repairs all brands of Swiss Watches.
If you have need of some servicing needs and haven’t had a chance to contact Govberg’s watch repair division, please go to our Govberg Watch Repair Email Form and fill it out, and someone from Govberg will contact you with a quote. There is also an extensive FAQ with some pointers on how much they charge and what they service and what kind of time it takes.
Here’s a short testimonial from a satisfied customer:
“I just received my watch back and it looks and runs great. Order placement and tracking was easy, service was top-notch. I was kept informed throughout the process and each step happened just as expected. No surprises or complications. Would use the service again.”

i have a piaget watch that’s been damaged and broken for many years now. i want to get it repaired as it has a lot of sentimental value. my options are 1 i can take it to the piaget boutique which is over 3 hrs away from me and the nearest authorized dealer is about the same distance. or 2 i can take it to my local jeweler who is reputable. they don’t sell this brand however they sell others such as rolex, etc. i took it to them to take a look at and they think they can fix it. they would first have to send it to a watch maker to get the mechanical movement working and then they would work on the cosmetic stuff inhouse. do you think i can trust them? or should i take it to the piaget boutique? obvious difference would be cost. but do you think they will be able to do a pretty close job as piaget would do? and where should i take it?

Just about any large jewelry store that sells a wide range of watches can send it in for repair for you. I had my Rolex Submariner Serviced a few months back. The store charges a flat rate of $ 600 to service a Rolex unless some expensive part needs replaced (like the crystal, bracelet links, etc). That usually drives the cost up.

I have an Buffet E11 Wooden clarinet that is about 4 years old. Around half a year ago, I accidentally dropped my clarinet during marching season (I use it for marching and concert) and the bell cracked just enough to show the crack on both the top and bottom of the bell (The crack is about the size of a dime). I didn’t think it was a big problem at the time, but I was just wondering if it would be better to repair it now before the crapped part breaks off, or buy a new one.

its hard to find an individual part like a bell for sale, but if you can find one buy it. although it doesn’t have any playable notes on it, the bell is vital for the tuning of a clarinet. Your clarinet will always be sharp without a bell. Broken parts of a clarinet are hard to repair, especially wooden.

My little sister is a beginner at playing the saxophone. Somehow she flatten the outside top (the ring part) of the bell a little. And the school band teacher wants it repaired. what is the estimate of cost to get it repaired?
Answer by WereWolf
Around 75$ +. My Sax needed some repairs and it was like 130$ But then again, it could depend on how bad the damage really is

I have an old brass and copper bugle with a large dent in the bell. How do the professionals tap it out?

You may want to talk to a car repair shop and see what they do. I know that sometimes you can use a suction cup type thing. Maybe the car shop would attempt it cheaper than an instrument shop.
