Am diabetic and looking for recipes that are low carbohydrate. Love stuffed bell peppers and want more recipes for those but would like to find some variations that are different and do not use tomatos. Cooked tomatos and I don’t get along. Thanks!
Answer by I luv my kids
I just use ground beef and /or ground turkey and rice. Mix then add to the peppers. I use tomato soup on top of mine. What about beef broth?

I used to have a recipe for buffalo chicken wings using Taco Bell hot sauce but I have misplaced it. I want one not using the packets, but with the jar you buy at the store. I cant remember what all was in it but I know you added the sauce with butter and that the wings were deep fried. Any help would be great appreciated!

I don’t really know of any recipes, but you could always brown the beef, mix it with some seasoning (throw some honey in if you so desire), mushrooms, and mix in a handful of breadcrumbs and fill halved bell peppers and broil it until the peppers get a little blacky near the teeny rims on the top.

I want to make stuffed bell peppers but have no idea how. I would use ground turkey instead of ground beef.
Can someone give me a good recipe? Something you have actually TRIED, not something you quickly pull off a website.
Thanks!

Brown your ground turkey with some garlic and onions. Make some rice… add the cooked turkey and rice with your favorite pasta sauce and stuff the peppers. Bake for about 25 minutes at 350…

My German grandmother passed away early this year, and I didn’t get the opportunity to have her translate one of my favorite recipes that she made me growing up. I miss her and this recipe. 30 Minuten in vorgeheizten Ofen bie ca.210 Grad backen.

Question by Justawondering
My boyfriend and I had a fajita cookout last night for all of our friends, and cut up a ton of onions and bell peppers and didn’t even use half of them! I’m trying to think of something I could stick in the crock pot to make for supper using those veggies so they don’t go to waste. Any ideas?
Answer by Dann-O
