I am doing a metal hunt off Black Point, Oahu. In the background is Doris Duke’s Estate “Shangrila”…it’s quite stunning, the lady loved Hawaii, and did lot of the State. Encounter a Sea Horse and an Eel! At end, show amazing find…a ‘Presidential” Rolex…18k of Gold or 2.6 OZT of pure AU. At moment I found it, I thought nothing of it…just another watch…on inspection at home, I wondered “is this real”. It was mailed to Rolex Factory for repair, and no record of “lost or stolen” nor was it a fake (Rolex would have confiscated it in all cases). Hence, it was returned to me with the bill (a pretty penny for sure). Amazing things can happen, or as my football coach used to say “Make it Happen”. Aloha! (disclaimer: if an owner can step forward, proof via COA acceptable, and reimbursement for salvage of functionality required. “why did you file a report with Rolex?”) Oh yeah, and RON PAUL RULES!!!

Not knowing if your interested in a buying female or male watch, here’s an article that is applicable to both men and women…although when written it was geared towards men’s watches but still the last paragraph sums it all…as it all depends on individual need.

Men’s Watches: Jewelry or Tool?

Jewelry can bring happiness to both children and adults, young and old. A favored accessory, some jewelry combines aesthetics with functionality. Because of its versatility, a debate has ignited among jewelry wearers, specifically among men who wear watches. While nonetheless a friendly dispute, the question posed elicits an array of opinions. Is a man’s watch considered fashionable jewelry? Or is it a timepiece, a tool of sorts, created solely for displaying the time and date? As co-owner of MenAndBeyond.com, an online jewelry store specializing in men’s jewelry, it is my opinion that watches are both jewelry and tool. In essence, watches are multi-purposed pieces. They are considered fashion jewelry, with many including bonus features. Today’s watches have the capability of performing a wide range of functions.

Men’s watches, in their various forms, have been around for centuries. Like many other things, the styles and functions of men’s watches have changed over the course of time. In the 1700’s, the traditional pocket watch was born. In 1920, chained watches were replaced with wristwatches, known as wristlets. As technology became more advanced, so did watches. The first electronic watch was developed in the 70’s proving that not only were styles changing; their purpose had matured as well. As the capabilities of men’s watches evolved, the watch became known as the only piece of jewelry having both style and functional attributes.

In order to understand why many consider a man’s watch a necessary tool, you need to look no further than its function. No longer are watches merely timepieces. Today, many of the men’s watches available come fully loaded with alarms, reminders, stop-watch capabilities, GPS (Global Positioning System) and yes, even some can monitor critical information such as heart-rate. It’s easy to understand with all the bells and whistles now available why many consider men’s watches much more than another piece of fashion jewelry.

When purchasing jewelry for my store, I make it a point to choose jewelry that is not only stylish and affordable but versatile as well. For example, many of the pendants and necklaces offered add style to both casual and business attire. The same rationale applies to many individuals who wear watches. While watches are indeed fashionable, they also fulfill a need. At a minimum, they provide the time. At most, they can save your life.

In my many years of working with consumers, I have come to a conclusion. Only one thing determines why a person buys jewelry: their individual need. And herein lies the answer to whether a watch is jewelry, a tool or better yet, perhaps both.

The Southernmost Point
Omega

Key West, FL (USA)

This is the official southernmost point in the continental United States. Actually it isn’t, because the real southernmost point is located at Truman Annex property. Since that property belongs to an U.S. Naval base and can’t be visited by civilian tourists, this buoy is considered the official southernmost point ;)

Cayo Hueso, FL (USA)

IWC Question&Answer:

Question by Big Ran

you feel like for the most part, all the questions are repetitive and at the same time, the few real good one’s that are posted up, you have no desire to answer?

I know it sounds retarded. But there are some questions here that end up capturing my interest, but I don’t answer them b/c I don’t feel like giving a detailed, lengthy answer. The reason for this is b/c I feel like a broken record repeating the same stuff to the IWC in regards to the current product in general.

I couldn’t tell you how many times i’ve repeated myself on why I think bischoff and hogan are better for TNA then what the fans realize or want to give them credit for. This is just one example. Idk, I guess I lost my drive to be a good user? or maybe i’m burned out from the IWC? idk what it is, but apparantly, I need to take a hiatus to gain my interest in the IWC back.

I just want to know if this has happened to anyone else here.

this question is a perfect example of what I mean. thought its a great question, I really don’t have the desire anymore to get into detail. It’s like i’ve lost my interest or something.
