Photography is hot. Watch photography is hot. However, there are still only few who master the art of doing so. Here at Fratellowatches we are blessed with the photography skills of Ming Thein and Bert, but today I saw some other great watch photography examples by Mike Mellia as well.

Mike Mellia

Mike lives in New York City and – besides playing the piano and collecting watches – has a passion for photography. This includes watch photography. His website mikemellia.com includes a special section for watches, but also make sure you check his other work, definitely worth the visit!

Bell & Ross Question&Answer:

Question by ewingde72

I wasted a pick in the draft by picking up Peyton Hillis. So i’m pulling from the wire. So who should I pick up, Mike Bell or Julius Jones for week 2?

Best answer:

Answer by Greg B
I’d pick up Jones, he has a matchup with SF and Bell is going against a very stout Philly D.

Mike Horn operates on a 30-hour day, 24 just didn’t make sense to him.  He divides the day into six five-hour intervals broken up concisely into sleeping, eating, working, walking, and whatever else he may have to do that day.  Horn has traveled around the world on the equator three times without the help of a motorized vehicle.  He’s swam the entire length of the Amazon river with a broken knee.  He’s circumnavigated the arctic circle by himself (it took him two years and three months).  He did so with a specially developed, tripled cased Panerai on his wrist. While many explorers have taken to wearing digital watches on expeditions, where Horn goes, a digital instrument would simply freeze, so everything must be mechanical.

We spent the day with Horn aboard his custom-built 109 foot aluminum boat, the Pangaea.  We filmed the video above, and took the pictures below.  Click through to read more about this incredible man, his noble mission, the tailored watches from Panerai he brings along for the ride.

Bell & Ross Question&Answer:

Question by trackstarbballmaster

Although the Broncos are playing the ravens, Buckhalter should get carries and receptions. Mike Bell usually does something, depending on Pierre Thomas’s role in the game. And Buckhalter is usually consistent yet knowshawn Moreno hurts him at times. Idk who to start.

Best answer:

Answer by Will
CB….He is a better match-up vs the Ravens than Moreno so he is a definite sleeper this week who could put up a ton of points.

M. Jacobs – Notes on the Rebel Invasion – Cover (back)
Jacob

I purchased this fragment of a copy of Professor Michael Jacobs’ book a year or so back. It appears to have been a part of the ‘cadillac’ version of the 1888 sixth edition of Jacobs’ history of the battle. This version was touted as including 100 photo-lithographs of the battlefield and cost 75 cents post-paid.
