Question by Lainey H
So I am getting new skis, but I am not quite sure which is the best ski.
I am a skier that likes mostly anything but jumping. I am not a beginner, and not intermediate, but not amazing.
So if you have any idea which brand would be better, that would be great to hear more options, but this is what i have so far.
K2 T:9 First Luv Womens Skis with M2 10.0 Bindings
Salomon Siam Origin Womens Skis with Z10 B80 Bindings
K2 T:9 One Luv IBC Womens Skis with IBC 9.0 Bindings
And also I was thinking about the 2008 Lange Exclusive 60 Ski Boots. Does anyone know if those are an okay boot?
Personal reference would be great.

buying skis and boots is such a personal decision. It depends on your physical characteristics, how you ski, and where you ski.
In terms of skis, it sounds like you’re looking for a decent all-mountain ski. If at all possible, I suggest demoing the ski on the ski hill before buying it. You can do this at most major ski areas, and your demo fee can usually be applied to the purchase. Some areas even have “Demo Days”.
In terms of Boots, “if it don’t fit…. you must quit!”. Here again, it depends how you ski, and what type of snow you usually ski on. For me, boot fit is the most important factor. To paraphrase the above quote, “if it don’t fit, you’ll ski like sh…” Most major manufacturers produce good products, but the key to a successful boot purchase is finding a good fit for your foot, skiing ability, and even the type of ski you’ll be skiing.
