If the sport watch segment has a darling, it may very well be Bremont Watches and now you can learn a bit more about the start of this successful British brand thanks to the video embedded above. The film covers both the origin story of their brand, the many processes and tests that make their watches so tough, and even their highly sought-after limited editions. Decent watch clips are far too rare, so be sure to set aside 11 minutes and check this one out. Want even more Bremont? Here is our review of the Bremont Supermarine S500 from last year and we hope to bring you another Bremont review very soon.

Today is Thanksgiving in the US, which means most of you are going to be stuffed to the brim with turkey, potatoes, gravy, and well, stuffing. So, in honor of a day where most US citizens don’t do much but sit around eat, drink, and watch TV, we’re bringing you the longest video we’ve ever shown on HODINKEE, but also the most beautiful.
Time Piece – Switzerland is a ten minute film produced by the wonderfully talented Kat Mansoor and Animal Monday. It is, quite simply, the most beautiful film on watchmaking we’ve come across to date. We aren’t the only people who think so either, this film has been seen at many film festivals around the world and even won “Best of the Fest” at the Palm Spring International Film Festival in 2007.
The film revolves around two central figures – Vianney Halter and Philippe Dufour – two of the world’s most respected independent watchmakers (Vianney won watchmaker of the year just last week at the Geneva Grand Prix) and it offers a look into their own little worlds. This film is just masterfully done so sit back, relax, and enjoy it.
The original question was “What 1995 film starring Liam Neeson and Jessica Lange is based on Sir Walter Scott’s 1817 novel about the scottish outlaw Robert McGregor? What connection does red hair have to the film’s title?”
I think the film title was Ivanhoe.. so whoever figures out an answer that makes sense first, you’ll get best answer!! (=
Thanks so much! that is really helpful!

Answer by mosby03 First of all the 1995 film was Rob Roy.
Rob Roy had red hair and was sometimes called “Red Rob”.
Roy is a Scottish nickname for red.
Does that help?
I’m helping on a brainstorming committee…. we’re looking for grassroots suggestions since it’s on an “Indie” budget….
It’s starring Jessica Lange, Joan Allen, Kathy Bates. It’s about their bonding after the death of one’s husband. And their cross country trip with his ashes.

Answer by Superbad McLovin I read a review of that flick in Variety.
You should target websites that focus on indie films. There’s a built-in audience there to be tapped.
