How are they? Are they quality watches? How do they measure up? Is it a luxury watch or just another Timex or Casio (sorry not to disparage any owners of Timex or Casio).
I’m considering getting a Bulova but unsure if it’s a quality time peice such as B & M, Cartier, Movado, etc.
Give me your opinions
Best answer:
Answer by Iridescence I have a Bulova and I love it, it was worth every penny. It always looks classy, runs great, and is a sturdy piece. It certainly can be compared with Cartier, Movado, etc – it is NOT along the lines of a Casio or Timex, not even close.
Answer by Mike D Average watch with mineral crystal found in malls. Not overly well known, which is not a bad thing, but at their price point you can find better IMO.

There is fast and then there is fast. In the first category, you’ll find a 575hp hand-built AMGGullwing, a 621hp biturbo Bentley Supersport, and a prancing horse or two. In the second category, you’ll find the fastest production car in history, the BugattiVeyron. None of that would prepare me for what I piloted with the folks from TAG Heuer while at the Circuit de Catalunya outside Barcelona. None of that would prepare me for a third category of speed, one experienced by only 22 drivers around the world on any given day – the speed of Formula One.
We’ve got a new Spidolite, people! Dubbed the Spidolite II, this watch is the follow up to Linde Werdelin’s modern cult classic, highly successful Spidolite, introduced a few years back to much fan fare.
The Spidolite II takes the existing Spido case, also found in the SpidoSpeed chronograph, and adds a subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o’clock and cool recessed date display at 3 o’clock. What is most impressive about all of the Spidolite family is the incrediable attention paid to the case construction – a unique three piece cylindrical chamber which safely carries the movement and locks on the sapphire crystal case-back while the skeletonised case part securely surrounds the chamber – and dial work. It consists of two skeletonised layers, seamlessly following the design philosophy of the case and adding depth to the watch when reading time. The Geneva cut base dial part (lower part) carries the Linde Werdelin logo while atop of it sits the top dial part (upper part) with the printing of indexes and numerals of the seconds sub-dial.
The movement inside the Spidolite II is a Concepto built automatic movement conceived by Valérien Jaquet himself visible through the skeletonised dial and the sapphire crystal case-back. The movement bridges have been modified to further reveal the movement and finished with a ‘black gold’ treatment to match the rotor and colour of case while the rest of the movement bears a satin microbillé finishing. The skeletonised designed rotor is aligned with the case construction and runs on ceramic bearings. From the top part of the SpidoLite II through the skeletonised dial, parts of the rhodium platine and the wheels of the movement are revealed intensifying the concept of a 3-dimentional skeletonised experience.
The Spidolite II will be offered in titanium and DLC anthracite titanium, for €9360 and €9960 inclusive of VAT respectively. Both will be offered in a limited edition A series of 100 pieces each, just like the SpidoSpeed. More details will be available in November from Linde Werdelin.com.
STAY TUNED: We will be reviewing LW’s SpidoSpeed Chronograph in an upcoming Week On The Wrist feature.
I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s in Digital Art seeking employment of most any sort, probably customer service-related such as waiting or receptionist work.
The only work experience I have is a summer internship at a graphic design company and two summers working at Taco Bell. I haven’t been having much luck with my applications, and I sometimes wonder if listing my experience at Taco Bell might actually be a detriment to my application. Should I take it off my resume?
Best answer:
Answer by Alison J Sure! They’ll be understanding, and know you had to make money during college or high school or whatever. It also shows that you are responsible and have good people skills.
So the Padres have started off hot and Heath Bell has been a monster. How many of you have picked him up on your fantasy baseball team or picked his jersey up?
I’m apart of the Heath Bell Experience.
Best answer:
Answer by Magicalhobo I drafted him in the late rounds, and I’m very happy I did. He’s been incredible for my team so far. I’m a sox fan so I wouldn’t go buy his jersey but I can only hope he keeps performing
Has anyone had any experience with this store. I found them on Ebay before I buy from them I just wanted to make sure, if they offer genuine Rolex Watches?
Best answer:
Answer by Ashley never heard of it. if it is ver ycheap, it must be replica. but who cares.
if you want to get cheap ones you ‘d better order it from ebay.com or eshopintuition.com. both are reliable and good online stores imo
Has anyone had any experience with this store. I found them on Google before I buy from them I just wanted to make sure, if they offer genuine Rolex Watches?

Answer by Elizabeth F At first I was a little nervous about buying a used rolex watch from an online merchant. After all, you’re simply sending money into a black hole and hoping that you get something back. But I knew exactly what I wanted, Melrose Jewelers had it, it looked good (at least on their web site), and it was about $ 100 cheaper than a local jewelry store.
In the end I decided to go with them, since their selection of Rolex datejust were slightly more unique than any others. Fortunately, everything turned out well. The watch was packaged very nicely, shipped insured, on-time, and was better than the picture on the site. I don’t know too much about rolex watches, but their site explains a lot and the quality is better than you’ll actually get from most local jewelers
I ended up buying the MOP dial Oyster Rolex and am totally satisfied.
If (when?) I need to get something like that again, I would shop Melrose Jewelers.
Has anyone had any experience with this store. I found them on Google before I buy from them I just wanted to make sure, if they offer genuine Rolex Watches?
Best answer:
Answer by Cheryl J Yes I have dealt with them and I was totally satisfied with Melrose Jewelers. They, unlike other jewelry sites, promptly answered a question that I e-mailed them, and I was impressed with that.
I wasn’t sure what the difference was between a president Rolex and an Oyster Rolex, they explained that it described the type of band the watch had. They even went on to tell me more than I thought I would ever need to know about a Rolex watch.
The sales associate Scott helped me make an informed decision instead of trying to sell me the most expensive model they had. We worked around my budget and not his commission, which is truly a nice change from the normal salesman type.
I received my rolex datejust, and its 100% genuine I am very happy with the watch. So you can go ahead and Buy from them.
