When I tried to report it, the notice came up that my email address is incorrect!

Answer by echinopsis
It is annoying, but meanwhile Spammers know how to make it look like you are the one who is sending such mails. Got some of them myself, but since I know that I don’t send myself any junk mail, I just delete them. As far as I know, there is no other way yet to deal with such crap.

Does anyone think Xtra’s email “service” was better before they improved it and went to Yahoo? I’ve never had so much trouble.

Return to classic Yahoo e-mail. Much more reliable then the new one.
Genuine e-mail can end up in your Spam folder also, if the sender sends the e-mail to multiple recipients.
Yahoo just not the way it used to be,
They say Patience!!!!,,,,i think they want us to be a Patient….lol…in an asylum to stick with them….lmaof

This is the year of the Reverso by Jaeger-LeCoultre, an icon that has been around since 1931. Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre announced their latest Reverso line-up, including this Grande Reverso Email. Now, some you might have read that as e-mail, but it is certainly not. It is the French word for Enamel. Enameling a dial is an art, a risky process according to this article and even more important, a joy to look at when it is finished.

As you can see in the picture above, this beautiful blue enamel dial with guilloche finish. When you flip – or reverse – the case of the watch, you’ll see that it is still blank. Perfect for a personal message or inscription!

This watch is restricted to 50 pieces only and has the hand wound caliber 822 movement. The case is water resistant to 30 meters and measures the following dimensions: 48.5mm x 30mm. It is great to see Jaeger-LeCoultre promoting their most iconic timepiece this much, as I am fond of iconic – or cult – watches. Earlier this year, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso Ultra Thin, a model that only measures 7.2mm in height and has a lot of optical similarities with the first Reverso in 1931. Read my review of the Reverso Ultra Thin over at AskMen.

More information will probably follow soon!

Last night in Paris, JLC threw the official 80th birthday party for its most famous model, the Reverso.  We’ve shown you several of the new releases in this line for 2011 already (think TT 1931, TT 1931 US Edition, Italian LE), and now we can add one more.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Email is a limited edition of only 50 pieces, and will come with a bright blue enamel dial.  While no mention is made of it, we think this is a direct nod to the brightly colored enamel dial Reversos of the 1930s, one of which recently sold for over $ 35,000.

No word on price for this LE, but it will house the JLC caliber 822 movement and feature a blank caseback for engraving.  Look for it soon.

For more info on the Reverso party in Paris, click here.

Editor’s Note: “Email” is French for “Enamel”, just to answer any questions before they’re asked.

I have a nuisance email sender who floods my email box with junk. I have listed him as spam and no longer get the emails, but I get a bell notice and notice of new email every time he sends something out. How can I block this notice?

Best answer:

Answer by Mia
You can turn off the sounds in Yahoo Messenger Preferences.

Messenger/ Preferences/ Alerts & Sounds/

Uncheck the box in front of “Enable alert sounds”.

You can change it to get a pop up box or just to show you a msg on the bottom of the screen, or No notification at all.

Also you can change the sound wave to different sounds.

Hope I helped.

I don’t know if this means they hacked my email or my computer but I’ve been receiving emails from myself about rolex replica watches that I obviously didn’t sent to myself so there is no telling who else is receiving them with my name attached.

People in other countries steal identities by sending bogus emails trying to get you to buy something, and once you submit your card number it takes about a minute for them to max it out. I would just create a new email address

As for not receiving all mails from family and friends – are you using Yahoo New Mail? If so, switch to Yahoo Mail Classic temporarely – lots of users are experiencing problems with New Mail.

Question by reed368

It has a totally different format, no longer lists my mobile contacts, ALL of my emails appear on ONE page, just to name a few of the intolerable changes. What can I do? Who made this change? Also I see that may emails were sent from my computer advertising Rolex Watches? What the heck happened and how to I get back to my origianl format?

Best answer:

Answer by Barkley Hound
First the format has nothing to do with the spam email you receive.

There are three versions of Yahoo Mail. There is the original classic, an all-new version, and a new beta version. The beta version will replace the all-new version sometime in the future.

To go from Classic to all-new click on “All-New Mail” in the upper left.

To go from All-New to Classic click on “Mail Classic” under “options”

To go to Beta go to: http://us.mg.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch

To return to your previous version from Beta click on “return to original mail” under help.
