Question by Sq W
I’m thinking getting a citizen watch for my bf but I found the price I got on Ebay is more than $ 100 cheaper than amazon. I was wondering if they’re fake…Anyone could explain this for me? THX!
I’m seeing two watches. Both of them are unfortunately citizen…
Answer by violinner
If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
The authentic watches on eBay are used.
The new ones are fake.
It’s as simple as that.
By the way, a $ 40 watch can be bought that is much more accurate than a Rolex, and no less accurate than the most expensive Citizen.

Don’t get him anything next time if he is that unappreciative.
Or
Give him $ 200 in cash and tell him to pick out his own gift.

Question by sdadagfds
Well it all started on a beach in Michigan with my family and my cousin. He went swimming with his watch and got irritated. He claimed it was broken and now worthless and began burying it in the sand. I later uncovered it and he quickly made me rebury the watch. Do you know what i noticed about that watch? It was a Rolex Oyster Perpetual. We had no computer at the house in Michigan, so i didn’t know the value i was expecting 500 dollars. When we were leaving i sneaked to get the watch again feeling guilty about it, but he didn’t want it obviously, and I was just to embarrassed to ask if i could have it. So i came home and looked up the value, the diamonds one went up to as much as 10,000 dollars.. but this was one a stainless steel male watch. I could not find an exact match for the watch but the closest one was $ 2100. I was shocked, he obviously did not know the value. I wanted to fix the watch immediately than resell so i told my dad. I was a bit surprised about his response, I began to suspect he didn’t believe me and that i stole my watch. I don’t know that for sure but i think that’s how he got my vibe. I started to get irritated, and my voice shook, and i guess that just took away from everything. He agreed to take it to a jeweler and get him or her to fix it up. I was excited out of my mind and began instantly searching on possible buyers. He just came home and said, he will get it to a jeweler but he thinks i should give it back to my cousin. He said that he obviously didn’t know what he was doing, and he obviously did not buy it if he was going to throw it away. I could not deny his logic but with that much money on the line, I am only 14 in addition. I couldn’t understand. I guess its the right thing to do, but i find myself hoping he will deny the watch once i am forced to return it. I know that’s also bad and i guess greedy. I don’t know what to do…and I’m just irritated out of my mind. The fixing isn’t coming out of my cousin’s pocket, and he buried, it as unlikely as this story may seem. I also don’t want to have to deal with his reaction of scrutiny if i return it. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fail
ahhh and im sorry i really dont know what category really fits it
money is not clouding my judgement i have no judgement in this situation for one, no matter what im going to be forced to give the watch back, secondly any watch can be water damged if the condiotons are hard enough, believe me, im guessing rocks might have scratched the crystal but there was perspiration within the crystal and that can happen to any watch thank you for your answer however
im pretty sure its real, my cousins father is one of the wealthiest people i know, thats the only reason my dad sorta believed my story because he knows his dad’s financials, and yes i know all about the serial number on the side of the watcht that the banner covers, i looked it all up and its valid thats how i attained the approximate value at first than looked at what similar models were selling @. Thank you very much, i believe registering is out of my control but i am sure that it is properly registered if not to my cousin to his father
i also love how everybody supposes its a fake
PLEASE READ THE EXTRA DETAILS
Answer by maxmom56
First of all, the Rolex you describe would not be hurt by swimming with it on. If the water damaged it, it’s fake. Second, the watch isn’t yours and never was. Sure your cousin acted like a moron and, if the watch is real, you saved him. Your desire for money is clouding your judgment. You’re a better person than that. You certainly have better judgment. Give the watch back and let it go.

Question by hamzeh Abu-jassar
I have connections in China to get whatever I want basically. I was thinking getting some fake rolex, breitling, ect. But I dont know what demand would be for it. So I would only spend a couple thousand. Im also considering buying some land in Jordan because it is a rapidly developing country. Stocks? Is obvious but im in no way an expert.
Answer by Jay Chang
$ 8,000 is a nice sum of money to invest, but I think you will lose a lot of it in stocks and trading fees if you don’t have a good broker or some financial advisor to assist.
I am an internet marketer and I would say invest that $ 8K in an online business. Email me at jaimyn.chang@gmail.com if you want to talk more. I’m open to talking with you.

Patek Philippe Question&Answer:
Question by guyin559: What sort of Retard leaves millions of dollars in Jewelry in their house?!?
Seriously. I know some very wealthy individuals…and none of them leaves much of anything overly valuable in their house. Maybe a Patek Philippe,or a Lange & Sohne or two…maybe some high dollar but often worn pieces…but NEVER anything over a few hundred thousand. That is what off site safe deposit vaults are for, stuff you have but only wear once in awhile. Seriously, either Paris HAS to be somewhat mentally retarded, or she was raised like some jewel encrusted, completely unaware veal. I bet Barron is laughing his ass off, and assured he made the right decision.
