I lease a 13hh Australian riding pony who is fleabitten grey and at the moment i’m jumping her about 65cm and i plan to go much higher. I am also doing a bit of cross country soon as well. Should I use bell boots on the front legs or all four legs for jumping and cross country?

Bell boots are used on the front feet. They are for overreaching when your horse may clip it’s heel bulb on the front hoof with the toe part of the back hoof. It can be more common with shod horses. I do also however recommend to use boots on all 4 legs for protection when doing cross country especially if the ground is hard. If you live in Aust try your local horseland store or Saddleworld for advice on which boots would suit your pony and budget.

Not the woman in me but there was one before it I never heard why wasn’t it successful didn’t Mutt Lange produce it as well? What went wrong? Did she go by Eileen instead of Shania?

No, she was not promoted . . . that is why albums sell, because of the promotion of them. Most people have to have the media to tell them what is hot and what to buy. Most people can’t make up their own mind about what they like and don’t like. I had that cd actually, just recently sold it (she went by Shania), but the songs on it were not played very much if any at all – so no one buys stuff they don’t hear repeatedly on the radio. Sad but true.
