German manufacture NOMOS added two new models to their popular Zurich line this week at Basel, the Zurich “Blaugold” and “Braungold.” Changes are limited to the dials of these watches, as you’ll find the same lovely epsilon movement within. The addition of color goes a long way here, and NOMOS fans will undoubtedly appreciate the additions as they add to an already colorful past for the brand.
There were no new calibers from the brand this year, though we are assured development is underway and we can expect to see something next year, perhaps a new complication.
We got our hands on the new Zurich models today so check out more live pics after the break. Pricing for both is 2960 Euros.
Michele, the Florida based manufacturer of luxury watches, has created a new spirited line to add more color to the brands trendy timepieces.
Michele chronographs have always incorporated color in a variety of styles and sizes. Although their new line ‘The Tahiti Jelly Bean Watch’ was released targeting a younger generation it continues with the flair that has made Michele famous. Inspired by the ‘Tahitian Ceramic Line’ they use bright colors making these chronographs a must have for the fashion conscious. These timepieces are available in an irresistible range of colors, are water resistant to 5 atmospheres, sport a distinct 40mm case with a bright strap and bezel. It is obvious the watch was created in the spirit of a Florida summer and its colorful surroundings. This watch is evident of the brands continuing appeal and international recognition.

Another brilliant idea that Michele has come up with, can be accessed on their 2012 website. The “Create your own Timepiece” link, allows you to assemble your chronograph from an almost limitless pool of styles, sizes and colors. Michele has streamlined the process and guides the user throughout the assembly which starts with the case. You also have a running total before you ever get to the checkout, which also aids in creating your custom built timepiece with no surprise total accruing. The ability of a potential client logging on and creating their own watch from Michele’s database is evident of the brands commitment to the young and fashionable as well as the brands desire to remain an international competitor.
Michele watches have been distributed by FOSSIL, a Texas based distributor, for a number of years. This company has enabled Michele to increase its footprint throughout Asia and Europe. Jack Barouh, President of Tempus, which holds the business license for Michele, said “Michele watches and Fossil share a similar dedication to the industry in which our reputations have been built. We look forward to growing our brand with the resources Fossil brings to the table.” This relationship has paid off for Michele who has seen an increase of annual sales in the double digits globally in 2010.
The end of 2011 has brought Michele some interesting results with their ‘Trunk Shows’ that are hosted at select store locations. These are great venues where you can view the latest Michele products and accessories. You can also talk with Michele representatives and see exclusive items that haven’t been released yet.
KickStarter is doing a lot for time-keeping, and today’s find is no exception. Deisgner Scott Thrift has come up with The Present, an annual clock that tells the story of the seasons using subtle gradients of pure color to mark the Equinoxes & Solstices throughout the years.
The Present contains a custom microprocessor that was commissioned to accurately turn hours into months. The annual hand takes an entire year to complete a single clockwise rotation.
As with any Kickstart project, you can make donations via easy-to-use portal, and a donation of $ 120 will get you The Present of your own. Check it out here.
Can they eat orange, yellow, and green Bell peppers instead of just red?
Best answer:
Answer by Niki Yes; orange, yellow, and green bell peppers are just fine and a great source of vitamin c which guinea pigs need every day. Red bell peppers have the most vitamin c concentration. Guinea pigs, like us humans cannot supply their own vitamin c.A healthy guinea pig should be getting at least 15 to 25mg per day. Pregnant guinea pigs need to be given extra vitamin c to prevent scurvy in both the pups and the mother, 30mg should be given to pregnant guinea pigs or you can use the rule off 5 mg per pound. Sick and/or injured guinea pigs need at least 100mg per day until fully recovered. Don’t worry about giving to much vitamin c as it will be expelled during urination. Vitamin c can be given through veggies and fruit such as:
1cup of sweet fresh red bell peppers= 283.1mg
1cup of fresh sweet green bell peppers= 119.8mg
1cup of fresh strawberries= 97.6mg
fresh oranges= 95.8mg
1cup of fresh papaya= 86.5mg
1cup of raw broccoli=78.5mg
1medium of fresh kiwi fruit= 70.5mg
1cup of fresh cantaloupe 58.7mg
1cup of fresh pineapple= 56.1mg
1cup of fresh mangos= 45.7mg
1cup of cooked chinese cabbage= 44.2mg
1cup of raw red cabbage= 39.9mg
1cup of cooked turnip greens= 39.5mg
1/2 of fresh white grapefruit= 39.3mg
1/2 of fresh pink or red grapefruit= 38.4mg
1cup of cooked beat greens= 35.9mg
1cup of cooked mustard greens= 35.4mg
1cup of cooked collards= 34.6mg
1cup of fresh raspberries 32.2mg
1cup of cooked rutabagas 32mg
1cup of fresh honey dew melon=30.6mg
1cup of fresh blackberries= 30.2mg
1wedge of watermelon= 23.3mg
1cup of fresh tomatoes=22.9mg
1cup of fresh cabbage= 22.5mg
1cup of fresh summer squash= 19.2mg
1cup of dandelion greens= 18.9mg
1cup of cooked turnips=18.1mg
1cup of cooked spinach=17.6mg
1cup of fresh red or green grapes=17.3mg
Make sure you are giving your guinea pig at least a cup of fresh greens everyday and unlimited grass hay. Note: fruit should be fed no more than 2 times a week; it is naturally high in sugar. Also, alfalfa hay should only be fed to young pups (under 3 months), sick animals, and pregnant animals~ alfalfa hay is high in calcium and is fattening. If given to much, may cause bladder stones and/or U.R.I. (urinary tract infection). Hope I helped for other info www.guineapigcages.com or guinealynx.info are great resources!
Neither my girlfriend nor I,could figure out what color our bell peppers will be. We cant find any information on the “Better Bell” variety at all. Does anyone have any information on that variety of bell pepper?
Best answer:
Answer by rdnkchic2003 There are different types of bell peppers, some are green, red or yellow. Most likely yours will be green. Try going to the grocery store and looking at what the different colors look like. You can pretty much guess when they’re ready. My parents grow the green ones. They come out different sizes and if the sun hits them too long they can have a little red in them. But if you’ve seen them in the stores it should be pretty easy to determine.
I know this seems kind of random, but I drew a picture of him as a wolf and I need to know what kind of colors to color him in as. For all who do not know who I am talking about, Im talking about a character from the Twilight series books by Stephenie Meyer. Thanks! =)
