Great vintage watches from Audemars Piguet do not come up for sale often. They are rarer than vintage Vacherons or Pateks, especially in modern sizes and aesthetics. There are a few vintage AP’s that do well at auction – obviously the early Royal Oaks (we’ll get to chose later today) – but also the traditional chronographs like this that pulled down $ 386,000 and this triple-date moonphase chrono that made almost $ 90,000. Next month, there is a great chance to buy some really special watches from Audemars Piguet that date to the brand’s formative years, and are unlike the watches offered from them today.
Below, we take a look at five vintage AP’s coming up for sale in May from Antiquorum and Christie’s, and there is not a single hexagonal screw in sight.
John from www.discountjuicers.com explains the differences between two different style juicers on the market. The Breville Juice Fountain made popular by the documentary, “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”, as well as a similiar model, the Lequip 215XL. In addition he compares that style juicer to the Single Auger style juicers – the Omega 8004 and Omega vRT 330HD. After watching this video you will have a better understanding of how these juicers work, and better know which will best meet your needs. Video Rating: 4 / 5
With gadgets becoming ever smaller, the watch market has taken an interesting turn: A large number of used luxury wristwatches are available at a fraction of the original cost. This purchase, however, is not without its pitfalls. So before you run out and buy one of those Mayors pre owned watches for sale, consider these following tips:
Research: Do your homework. Know what functions you want and which watches have them. If you just buy on a name, like Rolex, you’ll likely pay too much, and end up with a watch that doesn’t suit you as well as it should.
Reputable Dealer: The lowest price isn’t always the best purchase. A reputable dealer will likely cost a little more, but it’ll come with confidence. Reputable dealers don’t sell fakes, and they replace or refund broken watches.
Warranty or Guarantee: Avoid watches that do not include a guarantee or warranty. Even reputable dealers sell watches “as is,” but the consumer that can afford this kind of risk is better off buying a new watch anyway.
Documentation: Pre-owned luxury watches typically come with documents that detail the ownership history, the servicing history and any relevant historical documentation. Be wary of any luxury watches that do not.
Extra Benefits: Many jewelers and watch vendors include free benefits when they sell their most valuable pre-owned watches. These benefits often include lifetime care, maintenance and polishing, but not repair or batteries.
Fake Watches: If you have any doubt at all that the watch you’re buying is the real deal, stop. Bring in an expert assessor if need be. Counterfeit luxury watches are prevalent, and extremely difficult for the non-expert to detect.
I have noticed that there are many people asking where to buy replica Gucci watches. I have personally bought some from a company called www.newreplicawatches.com. They are beautiful and have many functions. No one will be able to tell the difference. Just thought I could share this with the people who are interested. Thanks!

I have been looking for a perfect watch for me for a long time. I actually found one but it is not being made anymore and it is sold out everywhere. I checked replicas of famous brand watches like Rolex or the one I especially like, Tag Heuer. I can’t afford buying an original (yet) so I thought of buying a replica. I thought some of you here might have some experience with replicas. So my question is, is it worth buying a replica? How similar is it to original? I know it depends on the company you are buying it from, so could you possibly help me with some websites? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot….

Answer by Penguin Power! After three days almost half the answers will be SPAMmers directing you to Chinese sites that have been up for less than a month.
I collect watches. I also do repairs.
People bring me broken replicas and cheap made watches all the time. Almost all replicas are made by the same Chinese company (http://www.xxwatch.com/). No matter if they say the watches are Swiss or Japanese. They are all the same. There is a little difference in quality between them, but seriously it boils down to a watch that costs $ 10 to make or one that cost $ 20 to make. They are sold on the street in China for as little as $ 30. Americans pay $ 50-$ 900 over the NET (depending on their IQ).
Just go to Amazon, and look up men’s watches. There are plenty of fine watches made by Invicta, Buliva, and so on. Most cost well under $ 200. Some are mechanical, and some are quartz. It all depends on what you want.
One last thought. If you buy a replica like a Rolex nobody will notice your watch except other Rolex owners. Trust me, I can spot a replica rolex on your wrist in a second. You will look like a fool. After a month when the hands fall off everyone will laugh. If you get busted with a replica the fine is $ 5000.
So im 17 and soon to graduate and looking to buy a Omega Seamaster 300m watch, now im wondering should I be buying one? I could drop the money on my laptop and pay half the financing, or just save it, but id like to buy something that I will have with me forever.
To be clear im buying pre-owned (genuine, iv seen all the papers), so its about $ 1600.
AI: I have no intent of showing off, I just have a serious intrest in automatic watches, and figure something like such may hold good value (I know Rolex holds value better but I lack $ 5000), im thinking of it more as a confidence thing, if that makes sense. But with that money I could pay half the financing on my 17″ MBP. I was originally considering buying a tough as nails tool watch, aimly a Marathon MSAR.
Kim this is what I was thinking, but so many other things I could use the money towards… Im just so uncertain.

Answer by Wilvin Buy it if you want, it is your money.
With that being said, I would probably invest the money into something a little more worthwhile. You can buy a very good $ 50 watch and save the rest of the money or spend it on something that you will be very beneficial to you in the future (like a laptop). The purpose of the watch (last time I checked), was to tell time, you need the most expensive watch to do that. It is like buying a Lexus LFA for your daily commute to work. Worst case scenario, you buy the watch and it gets stolen, damaged, or missing and your $ 1600 just goes to waste.
I want a nice watch but I don’t want to buy a very expensive one like the Tag, Omega, etc.
Other than those top brands, I don’t know much about other affordable brands. Is the quality just as good?
I saw some watches from Kenneth Cole which look alright.
What brand do you recommend?
I’ll spend about $ 175

Answer by James There are two ways they will give you your money.
1. Up front
2. A bank transfer
Here are somethings that you can expect them to do.
1. A proof of purchase
2. A certificate of origin (they want to make sure the watch is authentic)
3. They might inspect the inside of the watch (movement etc.) to make sure everything is alright
4.Negotiate with you
Here are some things you should do.
1. Take pictures of your watch and post them online. See what people say about i.
2.Go to a few luxury watch dealers and see what they will give you for it
3. Put it up online Ebay,Google Base.
