Bell & Ross Question&Answer:
My Packard Bell R1935 laptop has broken. I took it into repairers and they said it was the screen. I’ve tried plugging it into various different external monitors. Each one displays the initial Windows Logo then says that there is no input. Which external monitors will work? Do I need a 15.4″ monitor only and does it need a special resolution to work with this laptop? Thanks.

You have the problem that the external monitor is not yet active (afetr booting into Windows it still tries to display on the broken internal TFT). All monitors are supported. Try to use the Function Key + F5,7 to switch to external monitor mode. I am not sure how it is done on HPs.
