Bell & Ross Question&Answer:

Question by tonyandtan

My Packard Bell R1935 laptop has broken. I took it into repairers and they said it was the screen. I’ve tried plugging it into various different external monitors. Each one displays the initial Windows Logo then says that there is no input. Which external monitors will work? Do I need a 15.4″ monitor only and does it need a special resolution to work with this laptop? Thanks.

Best answer:

Answer by cr
You have the problem that the external monitor is not yet active (afetr booting into Windows it still tries to display on the broken internal TFT). All monitors are supported. Try to use the Function Key + F5,7 to switch to external monitor mode. I am not sure how it is done on HPs.

used rolex Question&Answer:
Question by LeeH: I just found out my ex’s house got broken into recently?
From my old neighbor. Funny, just before I found out he was cheating I was having the house insurance re-evaluated because we weren’t well covered. I’m betting he didn’t follow through with that.
I hope they got his time-trial bikes and the Rolex he used to leave on the counter. Is that bad?
Maybe I should start believing in karma after all… Nah, I believe in teenagers trying to get some beer money, but whatever works.

I don’t really have a question. Just wanted to share.

I have a rolex watch that has no band on it. The thing has eight small diamonds representing some of the numbers. It’s a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day – Date. It looks pretty freakin’ old. I have the band that goes to it, but no little needles to place it back. It’s golden

Question by Jerad: How much for a broken Rolex Submariner watch?
My dad gave me his Rolex for my birthday to try and sell, and get money for it but I was wondering how much I would be looking at if I sell it to a jewelry shop? And should I try to fix it then sell it? he said it was real, and I looked at many sites that showed how to tell from a real or fake rolex and everything on the real side checked out… The watch is siler with a black face. thank you for your help in advance! :)

I reposted it worrying it might be in a wrong category, thanks again!!!

Question by LoserLane: Can I sell a broken Womens Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust for the 18K gold and the diamonds?
I just bought a Women’s Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust thats18K gold, 73.5 grams, with ten .02CT Diamond chips…but it doesn’t work for some reason…I bought it exremely, extremely cheap from a drug user who needed a quick fix…I know that it’s real 100% because I was with her when she bought it years ago. She begged me to buy it from her because it made her feel better that I had and not someone else.

The model number is 69178- and the band clasp is #8570F…Once again I know it’s real and that it’s not stolen.

My Question: Can I sel it strictly for the weight of gold and the diamond chips? or do I have to get it fixed first?

I figured that I can just take it to a jewlrey shop and sell it real quick, instead of going through the hassel of fixing it.

The watch is very expensive though, and it’s in great shape!

I need some help and advice

Ref. number 16613 or 16610 is it ?
