On this weeks Deal Street we take look at Shah Rukh Khans renew endorsement deal with TAG Heuer from 2003. which makes him the longest standing brand endorser. He also promoted the brand with the release of his film Don. TAG Heuer also joined hands with Kolkata Knight Riders which is owned by Shah Rukh Khan.

Baume & Mercier continues their string of hits with a special “emblematic” version of their Hampton. Modeled after an historic Art Deco model from the company’s past, this Hampton features an arched case profile and curved crystal, with a vintage-looking Roman numeral dial. Fitting of a vintage-inspired timepiece, the watch is powered by a decorated handwound movement, visible through the display caseback, built for Baume & Mercier by LaJoux-Perret. The gold Hampton Emblematic will sell for $ 15,000.

I am trying to get my dad a nice watch for christmas . But I don’t know anything about watches, like brands or different kinds such as for example in fashion something has a certain price because of the brand . Like Gucci has a certain price and everyone knows them. Are watches like that?
What do you look for when buying one ? Is one that is 350 dollars a nice one ?
But Since I am a girl I don’t know what to look for or anything. What is anyones say on Bulova

Hi there. I am big fan of watches but I can’t afford a Rolex. I like Invicta watches. They are solid, good quality watches that are very affordable For the money. You can find them on Ebay, amazon and other places on the net

I am going to China in a few weeks. I have been there and I know that to buy fake high quality brands Beijing is a good place but higher price than Shenzhen, close to Hong Kong.
But I am wondering where is the place in China that high quality and price are the best for fake goods as bags, watches, etc?

Bringing a few counterfeit goods home from an overseas trip is rarely a problem. In fact, Customs officers generally expect it, but will only tolerate it to a certain level.
If you return home with suitcases full of counterfeit goods, then you will be challenged by Customs. Remember that counterfeit goods may be seized by Customs officers in China or your home country. You may also be fined or arrested for possession of counterfeit goods, especially in large quantities.

Hello, iv been looking around for a watch recently, and i dont know a lot of brands of watches to check out.
Iv looked at sinobi, but cant find one i like on ebay at the moment.
Just list some names that you have heard of even if you dont know about the brand itself, im going to be checking them anyways.

been wanting a nice classic watch (ladies) for a while but don’t really know much about watches i have around $ 200 to $ 400. any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Ive always been a fan of Seiko, great craftsmanship, simple designs. Ive owned mine for years, which I recieved from my uncle, who in turn owned his for years. Im not sure if youll find the aesthetic you want, but im conviced they are some of the best made around.

I’m doing a bit of ad-hoc research, and was wondering what the most popular luxury watch brands in different countries were.
I read a report that said Rolex and Tag Heuer were at the top for the USA.
Does anyone know what the top 5 are in places like Britain, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia etc?

I don’t mean a $ 10,000.00 type watch. I mean one that a “regular” person could get, maybe by saving up or using a credit card.

If you want good looking but inexpensive, go for a Swiss Army. Really nice looking watches.
If you want more pricey, go for the Bulova.

One of the most fun events I visited in 2010 was the SalonQP in London (report can be found here). This year, the SalonQP event will be held on the 10th (VIP evening), 11th and 12th of November 2011.
