Of all the stunning lots in this week’s Christie’s sale in Geneva, one that particularly caught our eye, and the eye of some serious watch collectors, was a mythical prototype Zenith El Primero. This watch was one of 25 prototypes, of which an unknown number survive to this day. Turns out that intrest in the watch ran beyond the typical collector, with Zenith themselves getting right in the thick of bidding.

Question by Big Time
What battery will it run on? More importantly, where can I take this watch, as a jeweler will know that it is fake (missing a small inscription on the front)? Will a kiosk in the mall be able to fix this? I really love this watch, as it looks 100% authentic to the untrained eye, and would hate to see my money go to waste even though I bargained the price way down. HELP PLEASE!!
Answer by ☮SMiLEY♥
ummm…well that was a waste of money, fakes are cheap and are bound to break….go to a jewlery store and ask for a battery, then put it in yourself so they cant see the fake waatch

Question by whereskoolaidman
The other day I bought some American Eagle shirts at Tjmaxx
and it had a pen line through the company’s name on the back of the shirt. I don’t know if that makes it fake or not, but how can you tell if other things are fake like watches, belts, and wallets and that kind of stuff?
Answer by Lil’ Lady
Most of the time a line on the tag just means something is wrong with the item like a stitch is out of place. Not necessarily a big thing but something that made it unmarketable from an American Eagle store, but not messed up enough to just throw away. You can tell if a shirt is fake if it says American Eagle, but the tag says Hanes or Fruit of the Loom!!!

Question by
I recently bought a citizen watch from Mexico from a legit jewelry store and paid a very respectable price for it. Well a least what it should have been sold for. I don’t think it’s a fake but I want to make sure. Any ways of knowing. They gave me a citizen Warrenty card and the watch case and instructions.
Answer by ღ♥eyeღℓash♥ღ
take it to your local jewellery store and maybe they can help or write to the manufacturer (find them online) and ask them if there is a way to check.

Question by melloZee
I am very curious as I have a need to know what I am eating.
Thanks Kim, I am fully aware of codes on foods and they are there for a purpose. Example Conventional fruit labels starts with a 4, Organic fruit labels starts with a 9 and Genetically modified starts with an 8. So thats why I am wondering what the 3 is for.
Answer by Kim
All produce no matter where it comes from has a code so when you get to the check out all they have to do is look at the code to ring it up. Next time you go to the grocery store look at a few produce items and you’ll see what I mean.

Question by The Clown Prince of Crime
It’s not a bad thing, but I’m just curious.
When he was banished at 2008, most IWC claimed he will be back at the draft…which he didn’t (once again, proving most IWC wrong for the umpteenth time). And everyday there’s a question about it.
The same as now, although not in the same intensity. Can anyone tell me why?
Answer by Kinky Pimp Daddy
Have you heard of TNA? It’s this great promising company with some of the greatest wrestlers today. Unlike the kiddie friendly cartoonish 80s rehash that is the WWE.
Hope that helps.
