I was on a trip to New York City, and there were guys everywhere trying to sell rolex's, now I recently lost my watch and I was wondering if 20 bucks is a good deal or if these guys are some kind of scam artists

of course it is not a good deal,,,this is a fack immitation of rolex made in china,,,with plastic parts inside will work for a day …if it look really nice u can wear it in a party attended by idiots who do not know what is rolex,,,for a rolex watch second arm move differently as mostly will be automatic than with a battry,,so anyone can know the difference,,,i would buy a real watch cheaper brand but not this one,,,they are not even stolen as if they are real the thieves can get more money for it (and u do not want to wear a stolen watch)

New York is known for their designer knock off's (imitations), many times, what they are selling often looks exactly like the real thing. The only way to be certian is to have the proper paperwork (warranty), with out that you're throwing your money to the street.
