What diffreence between brend watches and thei replicas? Is this alternative acceptable? Who may choose replica watches?

maybe i can help im a watch expert the basic difference is that the main one is that the brand or the real thing is manufactured by say rolex but the replica is manufactured by some place in china or taiwan replicas are copies of the original at a very low price like say a rolex submariner base price is 5,000$ a replicas of the same watch can be gotten for as little as 20$ replicas are trash they dont last long unless you jiust want one more differences are the workmenship is crappy on replicas there not water proff or anything and they may have 17 jewels in the movement (the motor that drives the watch) as were a real rolex has 31 jewels with the exception of some models such as cellini airking so on and are chronometer certified or cosc (certified official swiss chronometer) a cronometer is a wtch that has under gone test such as water proofness time keepin measurments all the test take about 6 months to complete were as the replicas are quickly thrown together not imted or anything wer as a real rolex if it has an imperfections even a scratch they fail the test and get sent back and polished or watever the problem my be a friend of mine bought a replica one timof a very high end watch cariter was the brand i think but anyway when he got it the band or bracelet was broke nd the crystal or glass was cracked but thats the basic differenc eif you have any more questions email me at bugaloo_shrimp2@yahoo.com or bugaloo_shrimp@msn.com

Ok so I’m buying a digital gucci watch on craigslist and the claims he got it from gucci.com
Is there any way to validate it’s authenticity?

There are companies selling designer replica watches at fraction of a cost. So how does one find out which one is original and which one is a replica. Is selling replica watches legal?

I saw one at a car boot sale and it had brass rivets with the tree symbol on them and a disc inside stamped with the tree symbol. Also embossed inside with the word Chanel. Having looked at the replicas on the internet against the real thing I’m unable to see much difference.I always go yesreplica to get some answers.but I need more.

It’s really hard to tell now. If you want to be sure you’re getting the real thing, buy one from the Chanel store or website. Or, just buy a fake one that looks so real nobody can tell

My boyfriend’s son is stationed in iraq and he found three breitling watches in A case one of the watches is A bentley two tone watch model number A25362 the other two are sort of A square shape, we have looked on line and found no info that can help tell A real from A fake, he did take them to A local jeweler who really did not know much about them, we live in A small town in south jersey and we kind of figured he had know idea, any suggestions on A watch dealer that may have first hand knowledge about the breitling series in the surrounding area? philadelphia, or cherry hill,
