How can I tell the difference between a real Rolex watch and a fake

I need detail please-not just battery/stampings etc..
Answer
if its a good fake, its very hard to tell the difference. yes, in a real Rolex the second hand moves smooth, but some of the new fakes have that feature as well… the best way is spot a fake is to look at the glass at different angles. if st some angles the glass becomes blurry, its a fake. if the glass stays clear at all angles it is real. (this occurs because Rolex uses very expensive glass, which the fakes can not afford)
