So where does the perception of money come from.

If I say I want a 8 thousand dollar watch for Christmas people go nuts, but it it based on their own financial situation rather than the bible.

If I say the same thing to a Christian who lives in any affulent area of the country its not so much of an issue.

What do you think.

Where does the line end, if I say that I want a 100,000 sports car people say well you should give it to the poor and buy a cheap car.

But what about houses, say my family home costs me 10,000 a month, should I sell it and buy a shack in some run down part of town.

I think that Christians base their views on money based on their own circumstances and view everything in that context and it has nothing to do with God.
Where I live you can not buy a house for less than 500k, and that would be a shack.

Question by d_murik: I need help choosing a watch for my dad?
OK, so I won a Rolex Perpetual Oyster Cosmograph Daytona. After talking with the manager of a Swiss Watch store, he agreed I could trade in the watch for another watch. My dad’s bday is coming up, and I want to get him a nice watch. But he wears the brands Seiko, Citizen and Pulsar and they have small faces and weird bands. What watch should I get him?
He is 55, doesn’t drive (so Tachymeter isn’t useful) and has lived in Italy for 22 years(so knows a thing or two about quality).
He has also hinted that he used to have a watch that showed the sun and the moon. But it got stolen. Anyway, I don’t need a new watch (I got an Omega Planet Ocean). Sorry if I’m asking too much…

Question by aka_ultramind: What style of knife would you call this?
I have a Wilkinson Sword knife here that I am selling on ebay. It looks like a Swiss Army Knife but because it’s not that brand I cannot call it that. Would it be called a multi tool? All the multi tools that I have ever used is a flip – open style with pliers.

I know this knife just looks like an ordinary Swiss Army knife but is a pretty rare brand. Wilkinson Sword doesn’t make knives anymore, just razor blades. This is the brand of knives that the British Army used to use. I am trying to get as many details about this knife as I can on my ebay ad. So far I have 10 bids on it and I am at $ 32.22 CDN or $ 26.00 USD for it. There are 7 collectors that are watching this ad and waiting to put their bids on it until near the end of the auction.

I need to find out the knife style so I can research some more details about this particular knife to add to my ad.

If you could help me out that would be great.

If you don’t know the answer please don’t comment. I asked a similar question to this in a different category and everyone just made irrelevant comments which really just made them look foolish when talking about this brand of knife.

Comparing this knife to an actual Swiss Army in terms of price is like comparing a Rolex to a Timex so to speak.

Once again, if you could kindly help me I would appreciate that very much.

I would say pocket knife/utility knife. A Swiss Army Knife is also both of those things, but that doesn’t mean that it is nearly as good or valuable. It has tools, so it is a utility knife. I bet it’s meant to fit in a pocket as well. That doesn’t mean it isn’t better than other pocket knives. That’s just a description of what it’s designed for, not the quality. A Rolex and a Timex are both designed to be watches, although one is much better than the other. This is a high-end pocket/utility knife.

Question by Doctor: Best brands for male watches?
I wanted to get a fake rolex but then realized how cheap it is and it just wouldn’t be good. So anyways I really only know that brand and want to get a good reputable brand. I was looking at some Swiss Army watches, but want to know what other good brands there are. Like which are the most popular among adults to get? I just don’t want to pay $ 300 for a no name brand when I could have gotten a more reputable and recognizable brand for the same price.

Fossil has really nice watches…they last forever and they have really cool ones and they are normally not over $ 150
